    Default IC Forum Junkie

Ok guys, I think I'm officially an IC Forum Junkie. After I get off from work I get online and I find my self on this forum for 3,4 or 5 hours sometimes and I forget to study. Does this happen to anyone else? How do I break this addiction?

I'm a junkie too! But the posts seem to slow down the more I check? I need to break this habit, especially because I don't have any more tests to take.

Look at my join date, I'm still here! I have one more to test out of, MIS, next week. This place IS addicting! You guys are all great. I wouldn't have gotten my first degree without all of you and Steve and IC.

    Default I absolutely agree!!

This forum is habit-forming for sure. I, too, find myself so engrossed in the comings and goings on posted here that two hours will pass in the blink of an eye!

And then I realize that all of my study time for the night is gone and I haven't accomplished a single thing other than catching up on the tests that everyone else is taking and passing.

Glad to know I'm not alone in my addiction.

    Your in phase 1.
After a couple of months, you will have read all of the archives, and can just sign on and click "new posts" to see what has been posted since you came here last. You'll then enter phase 2.
Phase 2 addiction can be managed by checking your IC only once or twice per day- and unless you post- or have an exam to study for- you can get through the posts in an hour tops.

OK, I think rehab is working and now I find myself in Phase 2. I needed to get more study time in for my Natural Science CLEP. My degree depends on it if I want it before December.

    Smile Me 2!!!

    Hello ladies and gentleman.

My name is Marshall and I'm an IC-aholic!!! {Welcome Marshall} ***APPLAUSE***

I do the exact same thing some of you mentioned. Take today for example. I got home from work at 6am. I ate, watched a movie, then got on IC at about 7:50. Stayed on IC until 9:15am, then I studied some. Dozed off and woke up at 1:38pm. First thing I did was log onto IC!!!!!! What the heck is wrong with us !!!!!!!!

That's why I love this forum so much. To be perfectly honest...I seriously doubt I would have accomplished what I've accomplished thus far if it hadn't been for you guys and this forum. And I mean that seriously.

The motivation that you get here is unbelievable. I'm always checking to see if someone posted anything on the "Post your tests results" thread. I love to see people kicking these exams butt!!! It makes me feel good.

And yes, there have been some days where I'm on here for 3 to 4 hours easy without blinking an eye. By the time you get done reading posts, replying to posts, and responding to your PM's....it's lunchtime!!!!!!

YOU GUYS ARE GREAT. PEACE BE WITH YOU ALL.

    From a loyal degree seeker,

    Marshall
