Hello everybody! I finally made it to shore after being out to sea for 40 days. It royally stunk. We were supposed to pull in way earlier but got called back to do more work on the way to port. I'm in Hong Kong right now and it is pretty awesome. I'll keep you guys posted.

I heard the Army is taking Prior Service Navy service members. If you join the Army, you don't have to worry about Ships ever again.
I've been trying to get my sister to get out of the Navy and come over with me in the Army, but she's already set in her ways.

I would love to do an interservicetransfer but they won't let me since my rating is critically undermanned. I am a Nuclear Mechanic, Engineering Laboratory Technician Type. No way will the Navy let me go early. Thanks for the thought though.
