I'm about a ten-minute walk from Dodger Stadium, just up the hill from Sunset Boulevard. About a five-minute drive to my favorite karaoke bar in Little Tokyo. Kanpai!

Even though it was called the Cincinnati swingfest it was actually held in Covington. It seemed like a nice town. I actually preferred it to Cincinnati. The last night of the convention a big dance was held in ( i think) downtown Cincinnati.

Downtown seemed a bit seedy and abandoned. Of course it was a Sunday so that might be why. Still have a good memory of Cincinnati. I won my one and only dance contest there.

Cool I am from VT this month

I live in NJ, in the nortwest just north of Flemington where the Famous Flemington Furs come from .

But for now I am in Vermont, West Dover which is where Mount Snow is. I found a nice little internet cafe so I will be checking in now and then.

    This is a great thread.

Default Are you in Monmouth County?

I grew up in Middletown, which I always thought of as lower central NJ. It is funny how your perspective changes as you move around. I used to think of Somerville as North Jersey. LOL

    Linda -

I'm actually in Jackson - the first town over the Monmmouth/Ocean County border. Originally, I'm from further north. It took me about six months of living here before I finally got over telling people I had moved to South Jersey.
