I manage a team that does management reporting and analysis, QA, technology projects, and research in support of a larger team that performs fraud detection and risk management for a major US financial institution. A bit of a mouthful. At parties I just smile and say I work for a bank.

I work for a very small financial software company where I have done just about everything...tech support, training, marketing, tad of programming, interface and software design, data entry etc. We have been downsizing for awhile now to the point where it is just me and my semi-retired boss for the last 3 years. I am hoping for one more year to finish my degree and figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Nothing like starting over at almost 40.

apparently I am in the Navy or something... I think I do like Avionics and stuff but I really work in the shipyard. I paint stuff and fix broken things. I went to school for two years to learn how to fix aircraft now I paint walls and sweep stuff. It is cool though, I have about a year left in this "navy" thing and about a year left till i finish my masters, I can get out and start my life. Also in a job that is not my dream job BUT it will pay the bills.

I test metal powders that are used to make automotive parts. I like this thread, I've been too curious about what everyone does. I never even thought to ask.

I know I'm still young, but I want a great job now.

    :-D

I hate lounging around looking for a decent job. It is a bit tiring.

I'm a sales clerk for a discount Christian bookstore

I'm only a teenager and am still living at home, so I know this doesn't qualify as what I do for a living, but it is my job
