1 credit TECEP= $25
#1
There's always talk of doing a cheap TECEP @ TESU just for the purposes of enrollment. $75 is pretty cheap but the medical terminology TECEP is 1 credit so should only cost $25. Of course, it may be harder to study for than other TECEPs. Kinda just depends on where someone's strengths lie and their background knowledge.

I just thought I'd bring it up as an option because I haven't seen anyone mention it before.

Should? Exam prices are mostly fixed costs. It doesn't cost the test center less money to administer an exam that is 1 semester hour.

At TESU, TECEP's cost $25/cr for LL exams.  And there is no test center - TECEP's are taken online through ProctorU (cost is included in the cost of the exam, so no extra cost to student to take it).

Maybe I've stretched my facts or did the math wrong...

Lower Level TECEP tuition is $25/credit

The TECEP in question is 1 credit

It should cost $25

Good call. I have been considering taking that myself. I'd take it expressly for the purposes of enrollment since it won't work for my degree plan and I don't have any open free electives left. At $25 it seems like a no-brainer, even if I don't pass the course it will achieve the goal of enrollment. I am also considering taking the Liberal Arts Math course for the same purpose and with the same caveat. However, both feel like a waste of time and effort since neither supports my degree. But there isn't a better TECEP option that makes sense for me right now.

Since I plan to be well over 90 credits by the end of September, I'm now thinking that I'll wait and just register for the October capstone to satisfy it that way.

In any case, this TECEP is probably the cheapest and easiest way to get enrolled at TESU.

Nice! Also, if someone has taken anatomy and physiology, they should have a solid foundation to start with.

Honestly I'd rather take a $75 exam that actually counts towards my degree.

I would too, but if there's not an easy one, and you'd actually have to study for one anyway, then I guess that one would work.

Applied Math is probably THE easiest math option there is, if you have room in your Gen Ed's or need a math course for a BALS.

Hypothetical situation: if I graduate with my bs, but before that, I have them add another degree to my plan(that I may or may not plan on completing) I could maintain TESU as a place to keep sending credits(CLEP, Onlinedegree, etc) for up to a year without paying tesu fees? And before the end of that year I could just take a TECEP (such as medical terminology) to maintain TESU as my credit bank for another year?
