LOL

If you want to see ridiculous, look at TESU's graduate tuition rates. $690 per credit hour for an MBA that is not from an AACSB-accredited school? No thank you.

While we're on the topic, what benefits does AACSB/related accreditation provide to graduates? Do many employers require this accreditation?

I don't ask in a "what's the big deal, who cares about AACSB?" kind of way, I ask because I'm not currently (and probably won't ever be) in a business degree program, and I'm genuinely curious because I see this often and I'm not familiar with it.

It's mostly important if you want to teach at an AACSB-accredited school. Also, I've seen some federal government jobs that require AACSB or ACBSP accreditation. I don't believe any state requires AACSB/ACBSP accreditation in order to sit for the CPA exam, but some states have made so that graduates of accredited programs automatically meet the requirements. Those who did not graduate from programs with programmatic accreditation will have to meet the requirements course-by-course.
