45% Tuition increase for veterans at Colorado Mountain College
#1
This semester CMC increased their veteran's tuition by 45% and now exclude online students from the discount. So, the price for this community college is now over $350 per credit for veteran students online.

Scratch another affordable college from the list.

University of Wyoming has done something similar, but it was across the board.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

Hasta la vista, CMC. I enjoyed my paralegal course with you, but NOT enough to pay that much for a course. Thanks for the info, Upton.

After a few public complaints about this increase. I received an email that says continuing veterans will receive a one year extension of in district tuition. It isn't ideal, but I will give them credit for an attempt to ease the transition for current students.

That IS laudable. While they weren't offering any paralegal courses that I wanted to take this summer, they might offer some in the coming year which I could use. Thank you UponSinclair for letting us know about this.
