How are you paying for school? Pell Grants, out of pocket, loans, etc? And yes, the TESU Bachelor Health Studies would require more courses to be taken through TESU, but at 19 that might be a good option for you.

If you have been out of HS for 2 years (and it reads as though you have) you'd be eligible for a Pierpont BOG AAS - in a health, biology or related AOS.

My professional goal is medicine. I majored in Biology at OCC because I wanted to study medicine, but now I need to find a degree at TESU related to the healthcare field. I finished high school five years ago. I apply for grants and scholarships to help pay for my schooling.

So you're goal is to go to medical school(?) - here is a thread that may interest you (it is rather inspiring as well)  https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...read-Guide

You dont need a healthcare related degree to get into medicine, all you need to do is the pre med pre reqs. Admissions from med schools actually prefer people who are more well rounded. Healthcare studies is a sort of bizarre degree since it doesn't qualify you for anything and gives a superifical look at pathophysiology and pharm

Two really good friends got in with history and theatre degrees. Major in something you have an interest in and just do the pre med classes

"Medicine"? There are many career paths in "medicine." What job or vocation are you specifically seeking? Bioengineering? MD? Veterinary  medicine? Medical sales; pharmacy rep, medical equipment sales? Prosthetic Medical Arts? Registered Nursing? Movement medicine such as Physical Therapy? I could go on. Could you be more specific? That would help us make more targeted recommendations as far as your next step.

@Shy, I'm going to repeat what I mentioned in post #9... The addendum is more important into that is needed to guide you through effectively and efficiently as possible. With a better overall picture of your situation, we'll know what advice would be best in your scenario. Here's an example, depending on your budget, commitments, energy/time, study habits, as I mentioned earlier, you may want to get a dual degree at TESU - Associates/Bachelors combo. With all the credits you have, you can get the AS Biology, BALS NSM, and make sure you have enough graded credits (I suggest at least 30 RA, up to 60).
