Make sure to get the other degree added to your degree plan before you request graduation.

NO. As Rachel said, get the AA degree added to your degree plan NOW.

Fastest way is an email to advising to add the extra degree. That's what I did. :-)
If you get it added to your degree plan, do you have to pay 2 audit fees?
The reason I’m asking about this is because when GF was looking at the schools she’s attended or is attending to see if she meets requirements for anything she didn’t realize, we noticed that the evaluation program on TESU says that when she finishes her cornerstone course she’ll meet requirements for their AA in General Studies. She planning to take her cornerstone and capstone for her BALS Humanities at the same time. If there is no extra effort, the extra diploma would be appreciated for personal achievement reasons.

It's a single audit fee and graduation fee, whether you graduate with one degree or with "six" (the theoretical maximum).
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Yup... In addition to that, if you graduate at different times, it would be a different audit/graduation fee. That's the main reason I tell people to add the AA, finish the BA and then apply for grad. As the requirements for the AA would be completed even before you're done with the BA, you generally verify everything is complete for the AA degree and forget it until graduation time.

Again, as mentioned, add the cert/degree programs into your list, graduate all of them at the same time, here's an example, Supermind added an Undergrad Cert in Psychology (you get this as the courses required are the AOS in the BA), ASNSM Math, BALS - Psych concentration, and didn't have to pay for the cert/associates as everything was done at the same time for the BALS, you need to keep it simple...

As long as you graduate at the same time, there's only one audit fee; if she applied for graduation after getting her AA, and wasn't done with the capstone yet, then she'd pay 2 audit fees.  So make sure not to apply for graduation until the right time.
