ASU MOOC Of 373,000 people who enrolled, only 8,090 completed a course
#1
Of 373,000 people who enrolled, only 8,090 completed a course with a grade of C or better, just over 2 percent of all students enrolled. Around 1,750 students (0.47 percent) paid to receive college credit for completing a course, and fewer than 150 students (0.028 percent) went on to pursue a full degree at ASU.

I had read some previous study that showed that out of all the people who signed up for a MOOC, only around 50% even watched the first video. This older link has a statistic of 53%: https://augmentedtrader.com/2013/01/06/a...nvestment/

Also older, but interesting ideas about how to define course success: https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2...-on-moocs/

On at least one MOOC platform, I was enrolling as a way to bookmark courses, I guess. I obviously couldn't do all of the ones I enrolled in right away. I planned to catch them within 6 months though, and mostly did not.
