ASU's non-proctored courses
#21
Quote:How long do you have to decide on transcripting a course for a grade once you’ve finished? A few days? A month or more?

I believe you have a full year to officially transcript the course once you've passed, assuming you paid to upgrade early on.

Yes, you have a week to decide whether or not to attempt a course for credit. Then you have a year after finishing the class to decide whether or not to add it to your transcript.

The ASU ULC dashboard lists the transcription deadline for each completed course, which is one year from the end date.

Oh that’s fantastic. That helps quite a bit.

It updated for me. 160/160, still pending the writing grade.

Have you gotten your writing grade yet? I'm still waiting for mine, but there's now an "originality report" on the grade page. I have a 4% match on Turnitin for matching a paper that was submitted to CSU Global and that happened to contain things like "peanut butter", "knife", and "bread".

I think it's pretty hilarious, but the short nature of the assignment may make it more difficult for future students to complete without getting a higher plagiarism score.

No, I don't have a grade yet, and similar to you I received the Originality Report today. Mine has 5 papers listed, with percentages ranging from 2-5%. I guess that's good? I'm hoping it means there will be a grade soon.

There's something else that's strange. Every day around 5:20pm EST I receive an email that says "Your assignment Course Content - Technical Support Fundamentals has been graded.", but nothing new is graded. Given that I'm waiting for the one assignment to be graded for the course to be complete, it's a little cruel. lol

Interesting! I haven't gotten that email at all. I just checked to be sure, including in spam.

My assignment was finally graded, so I clicked on the link to complete the course. I've searched around for some way to convert it for credit, but I haven't found anything so far. Clicking on the "View course results" button brings me to a "You don't have access to view this resource." page. I'm guessing that it will take time to process, and I will eventually have more options.

I think the "don't click this link until you're done with the course" link is the credit conversion one. I think it takes a couple of days to get transcripted.
