Advice on transfer credit D's
#11
So I will help with a plan, but I'm unsure what the first 2 courses are (confusing as shown).  Each school and the credits should be the courses you took at that school.  Anything that was transferred shouldn't be listed.

So it would be:

School A (only courses taken AT THIS SCHOOL) - Quarter or Semester based?
course #, course name (leaving out weird stuff like UG whatever that means), grade, # of credits

School B (only courses taken AT THIS SCHOOL) - Quarter or Semester based?
course #, course name, grade, # of credits

School C (only courses taken AT THIS SCHOOL) - Quarter or Semester based?
course #, course name, grade, # of credits

Also include whether a course is UL, since I don't know what the course numbering system is at each school.

Just edit your original post if you can.  And save your work on a word doc so you have it if you ever need it again.

Ok, Here's the revised transcript with the credits. I am not sure why he didn't get credit for band the first 3 semesters. I'll be looking into that. The grades don't look that bad because I took out everything he dropped or failed. GPA is 1.7

You don't have to worry about the Fs as far as transfer GPA goes, so it's actually fine.

bsinsc Wrote:Ok, he started off as a BIO major then changed to Business. I hadn't thought of straighterline that's a good idea! No $ is not the issue. You wouldn't believe what he already has cost. Not the best of ideas we've ever had. Just trying to help him get through with something at this point.

Yeah if he's heading to TESU, he should continue with an ASNSM in Biology and get a BALS degree with a NSM or HUM/SS concentration, if he's still unsure of any concentration, a basic BALS degree will do wonders - Liberal Arts isn't as bad as people make it sound, it's much better than staying stalled or having no degree at all... If he hasn't decide on TESU, then COSC for an Associates and a BSLS in Liberal Studies would do as well.

Note: The D grades actually won't matter as you can move them to the "General Education" area for TESU, the only grades that matter are for English and the Area of Study (AOS), he can take 4 StraighterLine Biology courses - A&P I & II, Nutrition, and Pharmacology as he already has Bio II & Lab! Again, I highly recommend completing most courses through the StraighterLine/Study.com as it's transferable to all 3 and WGU. NCCRS courses are harder to keep track of...

I was in a similar situation but when I transferred all of my credits because my overall transfer GPA was over a 2.0 all of the credits transferred in no problem. TESU will not accept the F's so I don't see too much of an issue with the classes you posted.

GNRL 101 General Elective, 3 cr. grade? and what is this course?  Find it on the original school he took it at.  Did he pass any AP exams?  Did he take this at a CC?

LDRS 111 Freshman Ethical Fitness Sem, P, how many credits was this?
BAND 101 Regimental Band/Pipes I, A, O cr.? how many credits was this?
BAND 102 Regimental Band/Pipes II, A, 0 cr.? how many credits was this?
BAND 201 Regimental Band/Pipes III, A, 0 cr. how many credits was this?

FNAR 350 Video Production, B, 3 cr. is this an UL course?

LDRS 111 Freshman Ethical Fitness Sem, P, how many credits was this?

Still have questions (in red above).

Also, not sure if I missed it, but does he need a BA, or just an AA?
