I sent in my application two days ago to Thomas Edison State College, but I just realized that there is a minimum age requirement to being accepted - 21. I am 19, and since I've heard of other TESC students who were under the age of 21, I was wondering if anyone could give advice on how I should go about getting accepted. Any help is very appreciated!
Thank you so much!

From the website:
Quote:Applicants under the age of 21 may be accepted on a case-by-case basis, or if they are a member of a special population such as a corporate partner or member of the U.S. military. Individuals not meeting this criteria, but who feel they warrant special consideration for other reasons may petition the director of Admissions and present appropriate documentation to support their being accepted to the College. Students admitted through special consideration are subject to the same academic policies and requirements as those admitted unconditionally.
Through a quick scan of the Contact Us page you should be able to find the Director of Admissions email. All I did was scan in my CLEP results and screen-caption my current unofficial transcript from my Community College. Supposedly if you have more than a certain amount of credits (15 maybe? I forget,) you're a shoo-in, but I also mentioned my ACT score and that I was on the Dean's List at CC, just for extra oomph. He responded that I was more than qualified and booted me right in. They make it sound like a big deal, but it's not.
