My brother took some Sophia classes in 2023. He asked if they will expire?
He plans to attend UMPI in 2028 after going a a service project for the next 3 years.
Any Feedback appreciated.
Thanks!

Sophia.org classes have an expiration date, most of the time, the classes are either extended or renewed, with a few of the classes being obsolete and thus, discontinued. As long as the classes are recommended for credit with ACE and you completed them during that time, it'll be acceptable on Credly and ready for transfer.
Having said that, just like college credits, some institutions will have a current knowledge or similar date, some are 5-10 years, as classes keep getting upgraded with newer content... UMPI doesn't have this, I don't recall, but others do, if you ever decide on another institution other than UMPI, you may come across issues.

Hi bjcheung77,
Appreciate all of the help you offer on Degreeforum.
I have credits that are on Credily previously accepted via Sophia (think 2022). Some have been revamped or possibly expired.
Are you saying these should still be accepted in most places? I looked at ACE and quite a few have newer start dates but I am 100% certain I've taken them. I don't want to take them again!
