Alternate schools for Comp Sci?
#1
What schools are ACE-friendly and transfer-friendly (90cr) which offer an online major in Computer Science, not just CIS? Besides TESU and WGU, I know of SNHU and that UMPI might offer one in the future.

Not quite the same, but Purdue Global has an IT degree with concentrations available in programming. NAU isn't very ACE friendly, but they do have a competency-based Computer Information Technology degree. Peirce College is super ACE-friendly and has degrees in IT (90 transfer credits) or Technology Management (102 transfer credits).
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Since you already have a Bachelors and a Masters, going back for another Bachelors might not be my recommendation. You may want to go for a second masters versus a second bachelors. My suggestion is something like the programs mentioned in my thread here, there are a few options listed, maybe an Applied Comp Sci for Non CS majors: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...t-Virginia
In Progress: Walden MBA | TESU BA Biology & Computer Science
Graduate Certificate: Global Management & Entrepreneurship, ASU (Freebie)

Completed: TESU ASNSM Biology, BSBA (ACBSP Accredited 2017)
Universidad Isabel I: ENEB MBA, Big Data & BI, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
Certs: 6Sigma/Lean/Scrum, ITIL | Cisco/CompTIA/MTA | Coursera/Edx/Udacity

Franklin University allows for 90cr of Transfer (including ACE) and they have a 10% discount if you bring in 4 SL courses
Last I checked they were $398/cr, so $358.20 with SL discount ($358.20 x 30cr = $10,746)

UMGC allows for 70cr of CC/alt-credit combined, plus an additional 20cr from a 4yr school; but they have a 25% discount if you bring in 1 course from OD, and as a Study.com partner, they will take 90cr from there (not sure if you have a mix of Study.com, OD, Sophia, etc and how that will work).
Last I checked they were $499/cr, so $374.25/cr with OD discount ($374.25/cr x 30cr = $11,227)

Wilmington University allows 90cr of transfer for ACE, will take NA credit, and challenge-by-exam and PLA may meet up to 15cr of 30cr residency.
- Course challenge by examination measures college-level learning through the examination process. Wilmington University faculty administer an examination process which incorporates a comprehensive final examination. This method of examination is limited to courses with examinations prepared. A minimum passing grade of B is required.
- Credit earned by portfolio assessment as UL courses is recognized as residency credit. A minimum passing grade of C is required. $360/3cr course
They are $390/cr x 30cr = $11,700; but if you did PLA's for 15cr of UL, you could reduce your costs to $7695 (15cr x $123/cr = $1845 and 15cr x $390/cr = $5850)
TESU BSBA/HR 2018 - WVNCC BOG AAS 2017 - GGU Cert in Mgmt 2000

Do you know what other low-residency schools (like 25% of degree) count their PLA toward residency?
