Alzheimer's disease caregivers
#1
Hey everyone,

I just wondered if anyone here has had firsthand experience as a caregiver for someone with Alzheimer's disease...especially towards the later stages. If so, could you please send me a PM? Thanks.

Hi JoAnne,

My grandmother has AD and it was really rough at the end. My mom kept her home until the very end, until it was just too much physically for my mom to handle, and she was in the medical field. Eventually she was placed in a seniors home, which was very sad, but with all the medical attention she needed, it was the best place for her.
