Annenberg Learner courses
#1
I recently discovered learner.org, which has tons of educational programming that used to air on PBS, including some college-level stuff. Some of the courses/series have downloadable transcripts and/or old-school interactive learning exercises.

Unfortunately, the site is being shut down in June, but it's definitely worth checking out in the meantime. At least some of the site has been archived on archive.org.

French In Action: The Capretz Method on public television helped me become fluent in French as a child. (It wouldn’t have done it alone: I went to a full-day French school and I often spoke French with my father at home. But it was a real assist.)

Discovering Psychology and The World of Abnormal Psychology were two of my first steps toward credits by exam in those subjects and eventually my psychology major.
