Straighterline and UMUC

Hi everyone.

In order to take three of the remaining five classes I have left with UMUC I have to take Statistics as a prerequisite. I took the DSST for it twice and failed and now I am dreading taking the class, so I signed up for Straighterline to see if I can make it happen this way. I like the setup so far and I think this will be a success for me. However, I want to know if this will transfer as a pass or fail or as an actual grade. Would any of you happen to know? UMUC's website doesn't specify and I'd like to get this class knocked out this weekend since I have nothing but time.

I also intend to take microeconomics with SL, even though I have a free CLEP to take. Does anyone have feedback on that? Thanks in advance.

I believe most schools take it as pass/fail credit for ace credit classes.

Make sure you take the correct course - it looks like UMUC will only accept the Business Stats course from SL (not the Intro to Stats course). They are a partner school, and so have the course equivalencies on the SL website.

I am taking microeconomics right now on SL (my first course there). I thought I would hate it, because there are so many quizzes (24 plus the midterm and final), but quite the contrary, I like that there are so many. For the chapters I already know fairly well, I've gotten 90%+ and the one I don't know so far, I got a 70%. So I think if I can continue to score 80% or higher on most quizzes, then I can get 50% on the midterm and finals and pass the course. For some of the other courses with fewer quizzes, I'm not going to have as much of a buffer (I don't think).
