As I type this, I am 12 semester credit hours from a BA in Psych through TESC with plans to follow it up with a 2nd BSBA degree through TESC. I took the Principles of Macroeconomics CLEP to complete the General Ed\Social Science requirement (grandfathered in under the 2012 - 2013 catalog) of the BA in Psych (for reasons that may or may not be evident in my signature), which is also a required course for the BSBA. Does anyone know if TESC will retroactively accept the Macroeconomics credits towards the BSBA? Or have I effectively shot myself in the foot?
To date: Transferred 60 credits in from B&M colleges, earned 57 credits by examination in 6 mos, aced the capstone to earn a BA in Psychology.
Earned: BA in Psychology, 2014 - TESC
Current Goal: BSBA in General Management, 2014 - TESC

I was thinking about doing a second bachelors myself but since learning all the particulars I'm thinking now I probably won't.
What was explained to me (and I may be understanding it wrong) ...
Is that you need 24 of the credits for your 2nd bachelors to be earned AFTER the first one, (how long after I'm not sure exactly) ...
So I think you could be ok on that particular class, as long as you have 24 other credits that are new.
To those of you who've done it - how much of a pita is it to do those extra 24 after the fact? Is it worth it for a second BA if you plan on going on to a Masters?
Total Newb - Enrolled at TESC for AA, eventually going for BA Psych.
Thanks to everyone who provides such awesome information on this site, I'm slowly getting the hang of this crazy process.
CLEP - Intro. Psych. - 63, A&I Literature - 72, Intro. Edu. Psych. - 59
ALEKS - Intermediate Algebra
FEMA - 12 Credits

According to page 198 in the TESC 2012 - 2013 catalog:
http://www.tesc.edu/documents/College_Catalog.pdf
"Complete a minimum of 24 additional credits in the area of study/core for a second bachelor’s degree
beyond the date the most recent degree was completed."
Looks like "beyond the date" or "AFTER" is the operative here, so I think I'm golden after all as I will need to complete significantly more that 24 (54-ish) credits to complete the BSBA!
I'm getting better and better at answering my own questions, with a little guidance from you veterans on this forum.
JBtesc, I am going for the BSBA primarily for the grounding in business, but also to bolster my own credibility of earning degrees largely through CBE... and because I think I may have developed an addiction to CBE!
CORRECTION: Minus general requirements, I have 46-ish credits to earn in the area of study/core for the BSBA -- still plenty of wiggle room to meet the 24 minimum requirement of credits earned after the BA in Psych.

Thanks for starting this specific thread. That is important to know about earning 24 credits AFTER the first graduation. I have been just taking CBEs for my Psych BA and my BSBA back and forth, depending on what I felt like learning, like it made no difference! Oops. Very good info to have.
