I think the cost of a single sdc course/exam is 70-100, not 36. Annual plan is at a 10% discount I think.
Please also be aware of the limit on exams per month/year.
Hope someone can check your plan

The price is based on what I pay for a year $1080 special, so you can only transfer from one source a maximum of 90 credits = 30 book lesson -> 1080/30=$36,-  Cool

That’s a good price! Looks like you have 27 SDC courses rather than 24/yr that come with the annual plan. $70/additional test=$210. Or better yet, replace 3 of the gen ed courses with free CLEP courses. You could do the same with a couple of the Saylor classes, which would drop another $50-100. Call it $6391, all potentially doable in a year.

For those who are eligible for the AOTC credit, you can deduct from $6391, either $2500 if all done in 1 calendar year ($4k spent at TESU= $2500 tax credit), or if done in 2 calendar yrs, $2k/yr (tax credit covers 100% of eligible expenses on first $2k at TESU+25% of next $2k). Alternative credit sources aren’t eligible, but I think the $2800 waiver should be (if so, it’s $2200 credit) and the two courses at $1098 each should be (plus maybe books? = $2025 credit), and probably graduation fees. OOP after tax credit would be about $2136 for the degree.

I believe a year subscription only gives you 24 courses total, or 2 courses a month.  You would have to pay $70 each for additional courses.
1080/24 = $45 a course for the first 24.  Add $70 a course for the last 6 courses (70*6 = $420).   Total is 1500/30 = $50 a course.

I have a yearly plan with study.com.

There are 3 free courses (1 credit each) at sophia.org

Aleks.com has College Algebra, Trigonometry, and Statistics.  You could do all three in 1 month for $20 total if you had prior experience.

Cmslearn has a math course that is highly recommended on this forum that costs $40.

If you take Calculus at study.com instead of saylor, it is worth 6 credits rather than 4.

Onlinedegree.com has 15 courses that are only $9 each.

Software Engineering is evaluated by TESU as lower level when taken at Study.com or at Saylor.

Hi im disappointed with onlinedegree.com I suppose to retake the introduction to programming and the course still is under maintenance i send them a PM and they reply me once but i wait almost 6 months and the course is not available i resend them 3 times a PM and I see that they read it but do not even answer me back so I recommend any one on this forum do no wast time on This course I think they have problem with the sources.

Another thing I want to know if artificial intelligence is counted as General Education electives at TESU.
The TEEX courses are they still accounted for credit I have not yet send my transcript for evaluation.

There are some courses that aren't accepted at TESU right now that you'll want to remove or postpone: Artificial Intelligence, Wireless & Mobile Networking, Fundamentals Of Routing & Switching, Ethical Hacking.  Not sure what the issue is, or if it will be resolved quickly, but I'd probably leave some space in your degree for those towards the end of the year if possible.

Also, the pricing you have for TESU courses is incorrect: $1098 is wrong (I'm guessing you got this from an old post).  It's now $1137 with the study.com discount.

The Electives section at the bottom doesn't need to be IT courses, it's FREE ELECTIVES, and you can take anything.  I'd try to fill that with some other free/cheap courses (Sophia has 3cr after a coupon, ALEKS has math for $20/mo (learn it all beforehand for free on Khan Academy or something else then do them all in a month on ALEKS), Coursera has a cheap Google IT Support Professional certificate worth 12cr (not sure what they come in as yet), I would do that after your Intro to IT course, if you can finish prior to the 7 day mark, it's free, if you take less than a month, it's $49. OnlineDegree is free for the course then $9 for the proctored exam.  CLEP are free through ModernStates.  Etc.

The Chem I w/Lab course from Study.com needs to include the cost of the lab, which is separate, and fairly expensive.  I might switch to 2 courses w/o labs, or the Bio w/lab, which only has a $40 fee added.

Saylor doesn't have an ACE-approved cultural Anthropology course.

Study.com's Network Technology and Foundations of IT don't count in GE Electives I don't think.

Study.com's Operating Systems courses both come in as COS-240.

Make sure that you keep track of UL courses in the major/AOS/CS Electives area, you need 15cr plus the capstone.

Make sure that for any course not listed on the transfer guide, that you find out before taking it if TESU will take it, and what they will count it as.  Check back often, as things may change from time to time (and they update the guide a couple of times a year I think).

2 courses per month x 12 months = 24 courses.  $1080/24=$45/course ($15/cr).
