I'm considering completing a BALS as well as a BACS from TESU, but haven't decided if it is worth the effort to do both. Would it be possible to do a single capstone project for both degrees? I've gotten conflicting inclinations from different posts I've read.

Good question. The primary reason is that the study area of the BALS is a field completely unrelated to CS (linguistics) that I'd really like to have a degree in.

Since you can't get a concentration in linguistics, it doesn't make much sense to get the BALS. Your degree won't list Linguistics at all (at least the degree name won't). So anyone who looked at your transcripts would see the linguistics credit you already had whether it was a BALS or BACS.

Yes, you only need to do one capstone as long as you get both degrees together.
