Speaking of CLEP and DSST, besides the modern states prep, do people have success on those exams by using InstantCert solely?

Or is there a main study book for each clep/DSST that proves to be pretty successful?

Many people do.  I personally didn't even need IC for the courses I already thought I could pass, but for those where you're on the edge, I think it would work.  For those where you're learning from scratch, then I think it would be hard.  It's also hard to get an estimate of how well you're doing using IC only, which is why a lot of people use practice tests to judge that.  My local library has all of the CLEP tests online for free, and some DSST's.  There are books as well (REA, Peterson's, etc.).

If you are doing more than one CLEP, its advisable to pay the $15 to get access to the forums for a month. The utility of IC flashcards vary by subject. The thread for each subject has alot of useful information, including a few study guides for each course. It helps to get feedback from people who have taken the tests as well. REA guides are usually pretty good, but, again, it varies from subject to subject.

Straighterline: US History 2, Environmental Science, US History, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, English Comp 2, Principles of Management, Business Law, Business Ethics, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Accounting 1,Communication, Managerial Accounting, Statistics
Ed4Credit: Managing Information Systems
Sophia: Project Management
WGU: Bachelors in HR Management

Second son is currently attending Penn Foster for his high school diploma, then on to Ashworth for An Associates in Criminal Justice

Do you happen to have the full breakdown of your sons WGU degree plan?  I was looking to go to WGU and I have heard of some people completing their degree at WGU in 6 months.  I was looking for a breakdown from someone who has went to this school.

Thank you so much,
Mike

I don't know how helpful it would be because he only took, I believe, 11 courses at WGU. He finished in 4 months and change. I can see if he still has it somewhere if you want it.

Here is his transcript evaluation for HR Management - as I said, he completed in one term.

And as I just stated on a previous thread, he transferred in 70% of his degree, which made it possible.

Good for him BTW!  Congrats.
