Are you sure the AAS works for the gen eds at WGU? (I guess I'll find out for myself once mine gets evaluated). I'm just curious if you know of someone it worked for.
I think someone on here got them waived with an AA if I remember correctly.

What credit hours can I expect to transfer into WGU?
Many students transfer into a WGU degree program already having accumulated many credit hours or having earned an associate’s degree. Transcripts are evaluated on a course-by-course basis according to the following general guidelines:
- If you hold an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree from an institution that is recognized as nationally or regionally accredited by the U.S. Department of Education, you should clear all or many of the lower-division requirements for a bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Technology. For Health Professions and Teachers College programs, a course-by-course evaluation is typically required. Only an official transcript evaluation can determine how many requirements you may be able to waive.
- If you earned an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) or other applied associate’s degree, you may be able to clear a significant portion of WGU's lower-division degree requirements.
- If you have completed college courses but have not earned a degree of any type, you may also be able to have some degree requirements cleared through a course-by-course transcript evaluation.
- Graduate-level program requirements are never cleared through transfer because of prior graduate school study. However, competencies obtained through prior study will help students to accelerate toward degree completion.

The words "may" and "significant" are the words that worry me a little there. It's borderline legalese for "eh, maybe..."

For the BSCSIA, it will clear all of the gen ed stuff described in this document (everything up to and including Reasoning and Problem Solving):

When the AAS does not work, it specifically tells you (check out the "Humanities" section for this general BS IT degree, which is different than your plan: https://partners.wgu.edu/TransferGuideli...nology.pdf ). Your own program doesn't have any AAS exceptions listed.

Referring to this?
"The requirements below may be satisfied by an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree for this program."
Makes me feel a little better :-P. I have most everything covered but the lab. I was hoping to avoid that too. Guess we'll soon see if WGU ever gets my transcripts from Pierpont (6 weeks, 2 emails and counting).

Correct, referring to that. In the other degree plan, it has the same wording, except on Humanities it explicitly says that it excludes AAS. No such thing on your plan

I'm seriously considering the WGU BS in Marketing Management, instead of the general management degree. Does anyone know what the differences are in terms of courses, as compared to the degree plan dfrecore made for the general management degree? I'm wondering if it would be any more difficult to earn. https://www.wgu.edu/online-business-degrees/marketing-management-bachelors-program.html
