"Big 3" degree value?
#81
Its affordable, accredited and it offers you a choice of electives.
The down side it doesn't offer the structure of a tradional
Course. That structure can be a handicap to some
people. You can take exams when you are prepared. No
Disorganized professors that want to flunk you
and leave you with a student loan hangover.

Understanding that you were talking about a "4-year degree", do you mean Bachelors? with the methods available, it need not be a 4-year process. It can easily be a 2-year endeavor, or less. This would give you an additional 2 years to achieve a Masters from a B&M that, I assure you, would look much better than that traditional Bachelors you were initially talking about. Even a DL Masters, would be a bigger foot in the door for you than the other guy's well-respected Bachelors. I think that this is the point that many of the posters are trying to make. Use the CLEPs, DSSTs, and other DL methods to get through the foundation faster so you can step up to the top of the pile and NOT have to compete against all of the other traditional learners.

Hmmm, good point. However, by "4 year degree" I did just mean a bachelors :p

MA2 Wrote:Yea even if you take just one class in a traditional setting and the rest online, you can still get 100% as long as you're a full time student.

It doesn't seem that any of those colleges teach classes on any of the 3 bases is this area so that doesn't seem like an option.

I also don't like how the degrees say "Bachelors in business with a concentration in ________" or am I just being picky
?

Well I'll be darned! Couldn't help but to quote this and amazed I stumbled across it! cheersmate

Yes. I asked a question (once) and after giving it some intelligent thought I decided it was irrelevant. I didn't keep posting or asking questions about it over and over and over.

I just found it amusing because I didn't actually even mean to stumble across this! lol
I ask a question until I receive an intelligent answer. Anyway, it's all in good fun. I couldn't help but to give you a little heck! :patriot: Night!
