Biology CLEP

Just wondering if anyone has had much luck passing the Biology CLEP using IC. I am a new user and can't help but wonder if my time is being well spent on the flash cards. I have taken the Biology CLEP before and used the Peterson practice tests as my study guide. My test grade ended up being a 45 and I was discouraged during the test because so much of the material was not on the Peterson's tests. I will be able to take the Biology CLEP again next month.

I passed the Biology CLEP, but it wasn't with IC. I used two books to prepare, Biology Smart by Debbie Guest (quick start, basic book to get your into 'Bio mode') and Cliffnotes AP Biology. I highly recommend both. If you read the first quickly and then study the second, IMO you'll have a much better chance of passing than you would if you just studied in the somewhat disjointed manner of IC and Petersen's practice tests. The latter are good to test and reinforce your understanding of the material, but there's so much to cover that it really does help to read a text that presents the material in a coherent manner. Just my experience, YMMV.
