Hi,

Anyone have success obtaining credits for having CISSP?

I see they list Comptia Net+ and Sec+ .... cant find anything on CISSP.

U r better ask TESU directly. They put note that various certifications can be used as credits. So its possible. Also it depends on the degree u r pursuing. I believe Cybersecurity or IT degree will take it but i doubt that Com sci degree will. But u r better to email them

TESU is pretty bad at taking certs - you're better off going to WGU if you have certs, especially high-level ones like that. WGU's BS in CompSci will give you 3cr for it, but the BS in Cybersecurity & Info Assurance will give you 17cr.

I guess if u r not in military outside USA u cant enroll in WGU. Just recheck coz i am not too familiar with their rules

No guarantee TESU will take it, since it's not an approved provider.

It's not up to me to know other people's status.  I was offering some info.  They can research whether this school will work for them or not.

Looks like I cant even add it into my ACE transcripts .... they don't accept any CISSP prior to 2018  ??

Heck TESU doesn't recognize a lot of certs that are out there. Makes no sense when going for a BS in Computers or Cyber , one would think these certs would apply ...
