CLEP vs DSST math = same thing?

I already completed CLEP College Mathematics a long time ago.

Would it benefit me at all (as far as a transcript) to take DSST Math for Liberal Arts exam? Or would they count as the same thing?

It depends on the school.  TESU counts the CLEP as MAT-102/103 (3cr each), and the DSST as MAT-105.  So those don't duplicate.  Other schools may not bring them in the same, so you have to specify the school.
