I need 10 hours for upper level liberal arts. I am looking at which ones of the below to take. Can you guys please chime in on which are the easiest one to test for?
If I take Microbiology with Lab, it will give me 4 credit and would only need 6 more to complete the 10 hours. Is micro bio with lab easy or a tough one?
I would need 2 more from the below:
Organizational Behavior DSST/SL/study.com
World Religions DSST/SL
Substance Abuse DSST
Intro to Law Enforcement DSST
History of the Vietnam War DSST/study.com
Rise & Fall of the Soviet Union DSST
Abnormal Psych TECEP/study.com
Business Comm SL/Saylor
Research Methods in Psychology study.com
Social Psychology study.com
Business Communications SL
Thoughts?
Also, is there a list somewhere that puts the test in ranking of how hard it is, I thought I came across it but could not find it. Tried search feature as well but still no luck. Thanks.

Different people think different things are easy. I personally wouldn't think history was easy, even an "easy" history course/exam.
One of the things I like to do is take similar courses together, which would kill 2 birds with one stone. For instance, if you did the 4 study.com Psych courses (Org Behavior, Abnormal Psych, Research Methods & Social Psych), that would not necessarily be "easy", but studying might be simpler because they all have some overlap.

Thanks for all your help in the forum.
I have been reading about this thing called cornerstone. Is it something I have to worry about. Reading about people trying to avoid it by taking classes or enrolling. Not sure I completely understand. Also, I have a mtg with advisor on Tuesday. Can I be totally transparent about testing for most of the classes or i shouldn't mention it. Thanks

The cornerstone at TESU is new, no one knows much about it at this point. COSC has one as a requirement already, I think it's going to be similar. One of the things it does is gives you a GPA at TESU, which if you were a BSBA student and were going to test out of the degree including the Capstone (Strategic Management), you could end up with no GPA there at all. The cornerstone takes care of that (apparently TESU thinks it's an issue).
It goes into effect on May 25. I'm not sure if you can avoid it at this point or not, since if you applied today, you wouldn't be enrolled until the 10th day after the start of the next term, which at this point is June 10. Not sure if that's exactly how it works, others on here may be able to help more.
Regarding testing out, it's not a big secret, and it won't matter if you mention it. BUT, I also wouldn't be expecting a lot of help there - as some of the advisors are not the best at helping with this type of thing. For instance, don't bother asking if you can test out of "xxx course". They will not know what you can take. But you can say "Can I do the XXX exam/course to test out of YYY requirement", and that may be better. You have to be very specific.

free clep prep dot com has a list, you might have seen it over there. I don't know how frequently they update their list - or prep- or anything....
you might also be thinking of the pass rates, those lists get shared from time to time, still there are some big gaps in how that applies to individuals.
My suggestion is to choose exams based on your interest level (it's much easier to get through something you find interesting) and in a subject that you already have some intro credit (it's much easier to build on existing knowledge than starting from scratch).
You have 3 psych options listed. If you've already done Intro, HG&D, Edu Psy, and Stats - these would be my pick.

Org Beh and Substance Abuse DSSTs are really doable. Abnormal Psych TECEP is really connected to the textbook (or at least it was when I took it). There were a lot of question specific to that text.

Also, someday maybe a MS in Forensic Psychology, just for fun. Oh, and a BS in Animal Behavior. And, maybe when I'm 85 a PhD in something fun.
