With California community colleges already being so cheap for in-state students, this could be an extremely affordable option for an associates for any of us here that are Californianas (depending on just how they're structuring terms and tuition).
I wonder what the other colleges were beside Madera that were selected

I have zero faith that this will be ready to go by September of 2022, they've been working on it since 2019 and CA is notoriously terrible with staying on budget or on time with projects. But it would be nice.
I'm not sure why they chose 8 schools instead of creating a program that could be used at all 113 CC's?

They will be nice. But, state community colleges are jammed pack and full of massive waiting lists. My friend's been waiting for a biology with lab class for FOUR years at 6 different community colleges.
