Can I apply for graduation before enrolling? LOL!

Okay, so I am going to re-pay the application fee at EC. I did my own unofficial degree audit and I am almost 100% positive the only thing I lack is the Info Literacy and Research&Writing in the Major for the BS-Liberal Science degree. I am working on having those done by next Friday.

How long does an unofficial EC audit take?

If that audit comes back showing I am done, do I have to pay the enrollement fee AND the graduation fee or can I keep some of my $$ and just apply for graduation?

I didn't want to ask the EC advisor that lest she grow weary, call me a penny pinching cheapskate and "loose" my file! LOL!

I wanna be DONE by August.

For a BS in Liberal Studies, the Research & Writing in the Major is not required. If you do not have a major, you do not need to do this.

It took 3 weeks after they received my last transcript to complete my unofficial evaluation.

I did not try this for the application. I did have all of my credits and transcripts completed/submitted/received before I enrolled except for the non-credit orientation. I asked a couple of times, but was told there was no discount for having the requirements completed already. Let us know, if you can get one.

After you enroll, it can take a few more weeks for the official evaluation to be completed.

For other readers - When you are within a year of completing your degree, enrolling will give you a chance to get advising and make sure all of the requirements have been met.

Also, there will be a new capstone requirement starting July 1st, 2010 for new enrollments.
