Capella FlexPath or Walden Tempo

Also, I'm confused what you mean by WGU being too complicated. It's far simpler than what you're attempting here
What degree would you recommend for WGU?

I like self competency based programs and I heard you have a lot of proctored exams at WGU?
I kept reading all over here these schools don’t and WGU does. Just my preference.

@Leslie2828 This thread is in the Graduate School Discussion area on the forum; the three schools being compared only off one common self-paced (competency based) graduate degree option - the MBA (although concentration offerings can vary)

I’ve checked other threads and still trying to make a choice.

Capella allows 12 graduate credits transferred whereas Walden allows 15 graduate credits.

  1. What’s more reputable?

  2. Can these be completed quickly to save on cost?
Your input would be appreciated.
What’s more reputable

@reyarl884 Where are you planning on getting these low cost graduate credits to transfer in from?  They are very specific course requirements you'd have to transfer in at the graduate degree level - do you already have some of the graduate courses completed through another program?  It is unlikely you'll be able to earn them starting from zero at a lower cost than what you could earn at a terms cost at any of the options you have mentioned.  12 graduate credits is only 4 course equivalents, and 15 credits is 5.   Most MBA programs are around 36 credits (approx 12 courses), so you're not saving much in time - especially since these are competency based (if you know the material, you can generally work through the subjects quite quickly).

Is your undergrad in Business? I know that Walden has a prerequisite course you need to complete with them when you start the program (0 credits) if your bachelor degree is not in business (not saying this as a deterrent to them, just as information).  I'm familiar with WGU and Walden, but know nothing of Capella - other than they are a well known for-profit; that alone would have me recommend out Walden out f the two you asked about. Also, like WGU - Walden is ACBSP Accredited, that is a big plus.

WGU is self paced and one of the pioneers of competency based. At the grad level with WGU MBA, about half of your ten courses will have a proctored component as opposed to a project(s)
