You can verify ACE-approval by going to the organization's page on the ACE National Guide or checking the Alternative Credit Project page on the guide. I believe edx's only ACE-evaluated courses are for differential equations.

Remember that ACP is separate from ACE. There are many more courses available through ACE.

You should go to their websites and check out all of their for-credit offerings. I think Bjcheung's beginners' guide thread has most of the companies listed. You can also go to the Degree Forum Wiki.

That's why I said both should be checked, but maybe I should have been clearer. Always search for the organization's page first and then check the ACE Alternative Project Ecosystem. EdX is only listed in the Ecosystem.
