In case anybody is interested, I have found competency-based doctoral programs.

According to this research paper there are competency-based doctoral degrees offered by Fielding Graduate University.

Quote: Fielding developed a rigorous, supportive learning model that today remains flexible, adult-centered, self-directed, practice-oriented, global, and competence-based.

Andrews University

Quote:The Leadership Program is competency-based.

This college also offers a competency-based doctorate.

Quote:Our commitment was, and still is, to offer a rigorous doctoral program like no other...
....the competency-based/capabilities-based design in which students are awarded credit for demonstrating their learning as opposed to seat time in a classroom

Quote:The PhD in Leadership and Change is a post-Master’s, full-time program delivered in a unique and distinctive model:...
...Credit for demonstrating learning rather than seat-time in a course

Fees frequently change. Sometimes more often than tuition. This list is very helpful. We all need to do some research on the costs when looking at colleges. The costs can change every term.

Actually, if you are looking for a big amount of RA credits, maybe it is better to pay 3000$ to Competency-Based NAU program that paying for the courses...
BSBA: 60% completed (72 credits of 120)

NAU has some great programs. I looked at them quite extensively before I decided to transfer to UMPI. I should be done in 2 terms which is 16 weeks. Here's hoping!
