Hi everybody,
I just wanted to highlight that Coursera's Deep Learning Specialization has received new ACE accreditation from 06/01/2025 through 05/31/2028.
Previously, this specialization had 5 LL courses.
Now, it has the following (see link: https://www.acenet.edu/National-Guide/Pa...0d3a33232a):
- Applied Techniques in Machine Learning Systems, 3 credits, UL
- Deep Learning Architectures, 3 credits, UL
- Fundamentals of Neural Networks and Deep Learning, 3 credits, LL
The great thing about this change is that you can now earn 2 UL courses that can likely be applied to TESU’s BACS (or any other CS/IT degree).

You think Deep Learning Architectures (UL) would work for TESU's COS-3300 Computer Architecture (UL)?

Only if transfers are processed by person who has no clue about computer science.

Hi @Pach,
nope, these are two completely different topics. And don't expect they might process it incorrectly; it is too much work (the specialization) just to have a very little chance for that. Instead, the UL credits may be applied to TESU's BACS 12 UL credits section.

Ahaha, yeah makes sense. COS-3300 is one of the last ones I need to take. Was hoping there was finally an alternative other than SDC.
Nice find for those who may need those 2 UL!

Neural Networks and Deep Learning
Course 1•24 hours
Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization
Course 2•23 hours
Structuring Machine Learning Projects
Course 3•6 hours
Convolutional Neural Networks
Course 4•35 hours

What background knowledge is necessary for the Deep Learning Specialization?
Expected:
Learners should have intermediate Python experience (e.g., basic programming skills, understanding of for loops, if/else statements, data structures such as lists and dictionaries).
Recommended:
Learners should have a basic knowledge of linear algebra (matrix-vector operations and notation).
Learners should have an understanding of machine learning concepts (how to represent data, what an ML model does, etc.)

I wonder if these credits could be used in the AOS for the Bachelor in Data Analytics at TESU instead of the statistics.com courses. Would anybody like to try an educated guess?

Probably, probably not, it really depends on the course name and numbers they come in as... If it matches the course name and number, sure, if not, it can probably go into the AOS electives.

I want to pursue online mathematics courses with signature track - ACE which gives college credit. Can you give me the link for it ? I tried a lot but could not find .
please send me link then i will find my courses on that portal
thanks
