Hi, has anyone taken this path? Or investigated any more details they could share?
Timing, classwork, etc...
Like many others, I am looking at WGU MBA but this seems attractive, affordable and very interesting.
thx

I have spoken with them and by all accounts I get the indication this program is designed to be tough, similar to their on campus program. It costs approximately $22k all in and does not require a consecutive path. I have not applied to the program.

I believe i am going to apply to this program. I just had lunch with an existing Alumni member and the networking opportunities from UofI are pretty extensive. Since i have no real reason other than networking and personal satisfaction for my MBA
it seems to be an affordable option. If i was in more of a rush, I would opt for WGU (which i was actually planning on) but since i can take my time, this is the route I have chosen.
Any other insights to the program?
Either way, i will share my experience with the thread for all. probably wont start until after the new year tho.

You said "interesting but not cheap." This is so true. The innovation needs to be reflective to the true cost. I don't feel we can have true disruption until costs come way down. I believe that GT computer science masters is one of the few programs disrupting the out of control higher edu costs but more needs to happen. It is nice to see big name schools responding with more innovative ways but it means nothing with out reduced costs.
