#1
Woo, those peeps know how to "educate" and "inflate" their IPO.  I think they're worth a few billion but wow, so quickly and they shot up to $4.3 billion worth in the last evaluation.

I wish Coursera would add a biometrics thing like Sophia (Typing pattern etc) and start getting ACE accrediation for their courses!

Coursera has always had biometrics. It's how they issue verified certificates.

The paid "verified" certificates always used biometrics back when Coursera was free (and not all tech). You could take it free for a certificate of completion, or upgrade to verified for a price, and that used biometrics to prove it was you doing the work.

If you can get verification of the certificates through the universities in question and not just a dinky Coursera certificate, those aren't bad prices. If you only get the Coursera certificate that says something like "Brought to you by Anytown University" then I think those are way too expensive.

I randomly clicked on one of the certificates (Health Informatics). 7 months, 4 courses, $5,000... for 2 credits. Umm... NAH.

Yikes! I didn't even check how many credits they were good for. $5k for 2 credits is way too expensive.
