I messaged academic advising to see what's up. Do you guys think there will be any problem having my stats class satisfy the math requirment and CSMlearn satisfy the quantitative literacy requirment? It seems like it shouldn't be but you never know I guess. I'm enrolled in a BSBA with a concentration in Finance. Thanks!

I think you'll be ok, just ask them to move it to Quant Lit.  Report back and let us know what they say.
I just got the email saying the will not use it towards quant lit. If I take study.com mat 107 will this work for me? It says it transfers to TESU as MAT-119.

Ok, that's new.  Fairly recently, you could use it for either College Algebra/Quant Lit or Stats requirement.

Yes, Mat 107 should work.  Although with that course under your belt, you might want to give an exam a shot - Saylor's College Algebra would work if you want fast/cheap.  So will ALEKS.  Davar.

If you opt for Study.com, you should add MAT 102: College Mathematics and MAT 101: College Algebra and do the placement tests for them.  That should get you a good chunk of the way through MAT 105 before you even start.

because I have to pay for one more month of study.com I'm going to do MAT105. I didn't think of doing the placement tests. Thats a good idea.

Can you upload your current evaluation for finance?

I will upload later. Long story short all my UL AOS classes were approved. I didn't have to fill out a demonstration of currency because only 6 of my 18 AOS credits were 7 years old or older. They told me if 9 or more credits were 7 years or older I would have to fill out the form.

I used SDC's Quantitative Literacy. Much easier/faster than having to re-learn algebra.
Did you apply it to a BSBA degree? What SDC course number is that?

Yes the BSBA w/ Accounting.  Math 107 worked for me. I had taken a Stats course way back then. Math 107 + Stats fulfilled my two math requirements.

Do you think it doesn't work for QL because it's a BSBA degree?  I have an email from TESU saying it does work but I was asking about a Liberal Arts Degree

It has to be that it’s a BSBA degree, as they added it to my transcript a few months ago just fine.  I asked them to move it over to my Quantitative Literacy and they happily did so.  I would be shocked if they turn it down, as I thought they had an agreement with CSM?

Yes the advisor I spoke with said that he confirmed that CSMlearn is not applicable for the quant lit requirement for BSBA. He said it would apply for the math requirement. I already had a math but not an applicable algebra so I'm now toiling through  SDC pre-calc. It's not that bad just time consuming.

Yes.  Some degrees require specific math be used in the Quant Lit area (the BSBA and BSIT both require College Algebra or higher, for instance).

For a BALS, it's much more flexible, and you can take anything 100-level or above (College Math, Liberal Arts Math, CMSLearn, etc.).

Why are you going through Pre Calc when you can do Math 107?

Honestly, I enjoy math. It's been so long since I did any computations im liking it. It's the last class I'll have to take so as long as I finish it before the febuary semester I'll be good. Is 107 easy?

I thought it was pretty easy, but I went through all my SDC courses without much of an effort. I never took calc, precalc etc though, and hadn't taken algebra in a decade and a half.
