I wouldn't take the test until I was scoring consitently over 50 or 55 percent. When I took the test, I was scoring in the lower 60s (scaled).

My main study source the The CLEP Professor Program, which I highly recommend.

The actual CLEP College Algebra exam is in 5-part multiple-choice format, so, yes, it is the same as Peterson's. Also, I would score at least 60 percent on the Peterson's tests before I took the real thing...just as a safety measure. Wink If you need help studying for this test, check the Specific Exam Feedback Section.

Most of the questions on the real test are multiple choice. A little less than a dozen are fill-in-the-blank, though. It's hard to guess on those! Big Grin
