for my associates in science in business administration, i plan to do this:
for free electives:
- business ethics DSST
- technical writing DSST
for general education requirements:
- principles of supervision DSST
Is this possible? TESC staff give as little help as possible.
It wouldn't make any sense for there to be specific courses considered free electives and general education... by definition, they should be allowed to be any credits in any subject area.
Thanks!
Working towards TESC ASBA, then a BSBA General Management

You can use those three tests to fulfill those requirements, but when the DSST transcript arrives, they will probably put Tech Writing for your Gen Ed ele, and the other two down in free eles. Still, same goal is accomplished, so it looks like a good plan.

You can't use Principles of Supervision for any general education requirements. It's a business course. General education courses have to be humanities, social science, natural science, or mathematics. As Mrs. B said, Supervision will end up in free electives while technical writing will end up in general education because technical writing is considered a humanities course.
