Will Sophia's (Approaches to Studying Religions) cover the TESU Info Literacy requirement? I don't want to take Straighterline's Introduction to Religion which maps to TESU's Introduction to World Religions (REL-277).

I don't think it does but you'd need to confirm with advising to be sure. Approaches to Studying Religions comes into TESU as REL-100 and doesn't appear to have a research focus or library studies component, which is usually the deciding factor on whether a course will meet the Info Literacy requirement.

As an aside, the Straighterline Into to Religion course is not tough at all. If that is what you need it for, it isn't a bad way to go. If it's just that you don't want to use StraighterLine, the Study.com Religion 101 also comes in as REL-277 so that is an option.

Thanks for the reply and the info. I will go with SL or SDC.

Update:
I emailed TESU asking about this to see if it would transfer and fulfill the requirements of an Introduction to Religion class. I don't know if this is a new thing with TESU but "StuSupport" responded to me asking for my University ID# so they "could attach it to my ticket". I emailed them back saying that I am not currently a student but would it be okay for them to answer a single question about a transfer. I've had them respond in the past without asking for my "University ID#". Not sure if this is a new thing or not?
