Did i miss the boat for September graduation?
#1
I was focusing on doing my DSST's, pen foster and other courses done to hit the June deadline, I forgot to register for 2 of my TECEP that I planned to give in June. (I am on PPC plan and need 2 more TECEP to met the residency requirement).

I just checked the site and it seems I should have registered at least in May term for TECEP to be part of September graduation and May term is already closed, the one available now is June Sad Thomas Edison State College: Graduation Information

Just venting a bit. it seems like I missed the boat, arrrghh I am so mad at myself. I wanted to finish in June, enjoy a bit of Summer and than start Masters in September Sad.

Alas If it is the case I can still plan to finish from my side early, but would I be able to start on my Masters stuff in September/October? I am thinking of WGU MBA.

I am so down Sad Sad

Does TESC have some sort of mechanism for late registration? Maybe you could contact the registrar and explain?

You are still ok to graduate in September. Go ahead and register for the June semester. Start studying as early as possible and take your exams on or before July 5th. You could probably push it out through July 12th if exams are multiple choice.

It is very important that you submit your request for graduation form on or before July 1st for September graduation. In section 3 note that you have two TECEP exams that will be completed on ? (list the date of your exam). Once your file clears the Bursar the graduation office will place your file on hold pending those final credits.

Keep an eye on your online student account. When you notice your grades (CR) have posted to your unoffiicial transcript shoot the grad specialist an email. (Her contact information will be in the confirmation email you receive after submitting the form.) She will then pull your file and expedite the certiifcation/audit process.

Good luck!

Happy to help! One final thought....

There was a time when you were required to wait 30days from semester start to take the exam but that may no longer be the case. Check with the testing office to confirm the earliest date you can schedule your exam.
