I wonder if we could figure out a basic GenEd roadmap that uses 24 cheap RA credits (lots of TEL, I guess). Once that's done, all the rest of the plans you've put in the wiki could stay mostly the same, since they'd be under or at the 90 'non-collegiate credit' allowance.

It's really hard to plan that, since most people come in with some credits; and most of the credits are Gen Eds, meaning they'll work mostly where you think they will.  But I will create a "TEL courses for GE @ TESU" and then one for COSC as well, similiar to what I created for Sophia at the Big 3.  That should help people figure out where everything will go.

rachel83az, I will give them to you to put on the wiki since you seem to be the master of that, if you want?

That would be great, thank you. I've got some plans to drastically alter the layout of the current plans to update them and make them relevant to the new policies at TESU and having at least some of the courses already figured out will help with that.

Hi, with these TESU changes should I apply now to lock in 2020 requirements as I'm completing my Gen Ed before they make more changes?

I would definitely apply and enroll ASAP. They're probably not going to make any further changes until June but situations like this are exactly why it's a good idea to make sure that you are enrolled at TESU as soon as you know that you're going to be attending the school.

Since you're still completing your gen eds, you'll want to make sure that at least 24 of them are RA credits.

I took the TECEP for Liberal Arts Math last year and about 40% of it is literally elementary school math. Fractions and counting change, that sort of thing. It's very simple. There's no calculus or trig or anything like that on it, it's basically 8th grade math at worst
Study.com - 177 CR. TESU - 39 CR. Middle Georgia State University - 15 CR. Sonoran Desert Institute - 42 CR. COSC - 6 CR. Excelsior - 6 CR. CLEP - 6 CR. Sophia - 14 CR. TEEX - 2 CR. Shmoop - 18 CR. NFA - 4 CR. The Institutes - 2 CR. FEMA - 20ish

BA in History/English from TESU.
BA in Communications from TESU. AS in Firearms Technology from SDI.
