DocMarvin's Journey to AA GenStudies and BSAST in Technical Studies

Sounds to me like you should go ahead and take the Cornerstone. At least it's quick and easy. We're so used to the Study.com discount being so huge, but for you it isn't going to save much, if at all.

I just scheduled my DSST exam for English Comp 2. It will be 2 weeks from now. Any suggestion on best study guide to prepare for this?

I am registering for a TECEP Exam. This will be my first TECEP. Is it mandatory to pay the TECEP exam now or I can do it once I am ready to take it? If so, do I have to follow the December term's deadline of registration? It says that I can take it until the last day of the term.

Yes, you have to register on schedule just like it was a regular 12 week course and pay immediately upon registration. You then take the test during the dates of the term.

Bummer. Still need to study the Saylor course for the Comparative Politics that I want to take for TECEP. I'll be going on vacation for a month with the wife and kids. I'll probably just wait till I get back. It looks like I won't even graduate until June 2018. I'll just use the time for getting my 12 credits residency requirement with TESU for the AA.

You can register close to the end of the month, and they give you 24 hours to pay (or a little more). If you wait too close to the end of the month, there is a chance you won't get in for the month, but they seem to go by the time and date you submitted.
