Granted, and understood. But after one has already met the requirements for the first degree, I don't understand why they cannot begin the process of earning new credits towards a second degree while they wait to officially graduate with the first degree. New credits are new credits, and IMO, it shouldn't matter when they're earned.

sanantone, I found the clarification I needed around new credit requirement for a second bachelors from TESC on this thread:
http://www.degreeforum.net/excelsior-tho...post152372
According to page 198 in the TESC 2012 - 2013 catalog:
http://www.tesc.edu/documents/College_Catalog.pdf
"Complete a minimum of 24 additional credits in the area of study/core for a second bachelor’s degree beyond the date the most recent degree was completed."
To date: Transferred 60 credits in from B&M colleges, earned 57 credits by examination in 6 mos, aced the capstone to earn a BA in Psychology.

Glad I could be of service, hejbelle! I feel redeemed knowing that I have helped another as I muddle through this process.
cooperalex2004 did reference pages 197 - 198 in the TESC 2012 - 2013 catalog earlier on this thread, which I already read. But I had to revisit it for the clarification I needed to congeal.

It is after conferral not completion. Do not take a single test until after the conferral date. Yes it sucks. Call your advisor and even better ask the registrar.
