Double Major with BACS?
#1
I'm looking to get a double major at TESU and wondering if anyone has done this with BACS (computer science) and which major would they go for?
I would like to avoid the credit hour residency waiver fee and would like to take the 16 credits at TESU in one semester to not pay for that fee.
For the extra 4 credits that I would have to take at TESU that aren't a part of the capstone credits and critical information literacy credits what would you take?

I'm a little confused about how to go about planning for this so any advice would be much appreciated!

CS and Math are pretty common suggestions. Very complementary skills. But CS and Psychology has also been done. As have others. The best AOS is what's right for you.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

The most logical choice would be Computer Science and Math. Since most BA degrees at TESU have a 30 credit Major, you're in great shape to do a double major without too many extra credits over the usual 120 for just one major. Another set of options would be English, History, Psychology, it all depends what you want to take, check their options and decide for yourself. If I had a choice, I would do something unique, like their Environmental Studies degree, it'll require residency credits that can't be taken anywhere else https://www.tesu.edu/heavin/ba
