Dr. Amy Cuddy 8 years for 1 degree
#1
Dr. Amy Cuddy came up in one of my MAOL courses on body language, her TED talk is absolutely amazing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ks-_Mh1QhMc

She shares her story of feeling like she's not smart, she doesn't belong, etc. It took her EIGHT YEARS to get her bachelors. EIGHT. It took her FIVE YEARS for her masters! Afterwards she did her PhD in two years.

Here she is now, one of the world's most esteemed emotional intelligence professors in the world. She wrote the literal Harvard textbooks most masters programs use now days.

This made me feel a lot better about getting my degree later in life, and spending so much time on it. Here we have one of the world's top experts, who spent a lot of time questioning herself, etc, complete it herself.

And there she is....

She overcame a traumatic brain injury and earned all of those degrees! That's absolutely mind blowing.
