Can someone tell me the last time they updated straighter line English’s? Is comp 2 Frankenstein and the English 1 the same as 2 years ago? My son is taking it and my daughter took it already.

There have been no updates as of 2016 and no mention of updates in 2017. As long as the course is ACE approved, there is no investment value to update/enhance a course.

My son is taking English Comp 1 and is about midway through. They just sent him an updated syllabus today (11/11/17). The only change is that they replaced the Fable Narrative assignment with an assignment called "Character Evolution". The rest of the syllabus is the same. 

We have not taken English Comp 2 yet, but if you get on the SL website and look at the syllabus it still has Frankenstein as the main text. I do not know if any other changes have been made.
