I was wondering if anyone knew what Excelsior will accept for business writing in the business degree since they won't accept Eng comp 2 anymore from Study (and I'm guessing Sophia).

From what I have read on this, they want you to take their specific course. You may need to ask them if there is an ACE course which will transfer in for this course. There may not be. In my experience with EU, the advisors aren't that helpful even when you're an enrolled student. Hopefully, yours is better than mine was. Good luck!

Not for the business degrees. They have changed the English writing requirement for them.

I contacted my advisor for Excelsior and was told that they would accept English Comp 1 and 2 from Sophia. He wanted me to finish them and send my transcript in for them before he would approve more courses. Waiting to see if it's accepted now.


TLDR: Sophia English Comp 1 and 2 supposedly still work- although I don't know if it will work for the Business degree, mine is in Liberal Arts.

The Business Writing requirement is specifically for the Business degrees (BSB & BPS).  Obviously, Business Writing is not required for other non-Business degrees.

No - it's English Comp I & Business Writing; English Comp II is no longer required.
