I have about 30 or so FEMA exams complete, which I planned to credit bank at TESC. I'd like to take the English Comp w/ Essay CLEP exam and add that to the credit bank as well...
Question is, will TESC convert the CLEP exam to English 101 and 102? So that if the transcript was then sent to Excelsior, they will accept as is (and satisfy the WER) or would they force me to do the ECE English Comp exam...
My Background on the issue:
I've applied to COSC so they can review my "collage" of college credit earned when I was in the Marines (also attended several Navy and Air Force schools), the numerous IT certifications and even a few programming courses... The FEMA exams were done to cover CEUs for my membership with the American College of Forensic Examiners (I do computer security and forensics on the side, not the way cool CSI stuff you see on tv , although I'd be open to the Criminal Justice track)
But after finding this forum, I'm a bit perplexed on what to do. I know I need the CLEP core tests, but am waiting eagerly to hear back from COSC on what my first degree can be in the shortest amount of time. Any comments would be appreciated...
