Noted this Russian business school from EDX micro master webpage: https://www.edx.org/micromasters/mitx-st...ta-science
They offer online DBA, MBA and MIM programs with quite an attractive tuition price.

Can't find much info about their accreditation though.
Anyone can share some thoughts on this institute?

If you can read through the word-salad that is their accreditation page ( https://emasglobe.com/accreditation-and-ranking) they say they are accredited by the Russian government and no other programs. I make no judgement on what that might mean.

Further check from the website of Russia Minister of Education :
http://www.russianenic.ru/english/cred/spisok.html
noted they are not on the list of recognised Institution.
Hence, not recommended.

I don't believe that's a governmental accreditation site. I think this is the correct accreditation site but I can't figure out how to work the search (I don't speak Russian).

I'll give it a whirl and see if I can figure it out. I don't speak Russian either but I'll be taking a Russian class from XAMK in a couple of months and this should be good practice, haha.

I'll pass on a Russian DBA or MBA so many other options that are accredited and worth something in the United States but interesting find.

That site is impossible to use. I keep getting errors when I try to search. "Page error, please refresh" and "SQL: too many connections". Very frustrating. So I looked elsewhere.
I found: https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?thr...ent.56773/ which claims that they are not "accredited" but are only licensed. I did a search on Russian Google and couldn't find anything BAD about them. I did find one site with positive reviews from Russians. If they were not legit at all, I think I would've been able to find something with even just a very basic search. I suspect that this may be a completely legit school but that it's another ENEB-like situation.
This is enhanced by this quote from the EMAS site:
Quote:Note: An MBA program is a postgraduate course and it is not equivalent to an MSc program as well as other higher education programs in the terms of the Federal Law on Education in the Russian Federation. It is also not equivalent to an MSc degree and other higher education degrees in most of the countries of the European Union and the majority of the countries of the world. An MBA is a post-graduate course.
An MBA is a degree for the corporate world. There is a parallel system of degrees in business that is not equal to the system of academic degrees (Bachelor → MBA → DBA / Bachelor → MSc → PhD). These two systems shouldn’t be confused.
An MBA is useful for those who are looking for a career in business, whereas an MSc is valuable for those who are looking for public / civil service or an academic career (working and teaching at universities, for example). However, an MBA degree is valuable for those who want to teach in the framework of MBA programs, for instance.
It is also important to understand that when one perceives to get an MBA degree in another country then their own country, they must keep in mind a question of recognition / nostrification of foreign degrees / diplomas by local authorities if necessary. While this question is irrelevant in most cases to make a career in the corporate world, one can need to obtain recognition / nostrification if they want to work in public / civil service or academic world or continue the academic thread of education, like pursuing a PhD degree, for example. EMAS, as well as other educational institutions in the world, can not guarantee the recognition / nostrification of its diplomas outside of its country (Russia) and is not responsible for that.
Just like with the titulo propio degrees of Spain, EMAS doesn't expect or promise that you'll be able to use their degree(s) to get work in the public sector or as a teacher. If that happens to fit your needs, it might work for you.

Most international schools will get this type of "draw back" in regards to recognition. I think this school would be similar to UCN, the pricing seems similar too... I would tread carefully, research the school and if possible reviews/testimonials of people who have completed a graduate degree there. Further to that, maybe someone has done evaluations of their transfers before, research, find out if it's a program for you and then decide...
